Collection consists primarily of correspondence and financial records from 1828-1865, a large portion being the records of the office of the treasurer (Gabriel Tichnor) and Superintendent (Dr. D.H. Allen). Also included are lectures and sermons by faculty, and records of student organizations. The records of the Society of Missionary Inquiry contains letters from missionaries.
